Florian Pouchès holds the BEESAC (State Certificate for Sports Educator in Cycling Activities), obtained at CREPS Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, as well as a certification in motorcycling from CREPS Saint-Raphaël.

After a career in MTB cross-country for his motorbike training (8 seasons in enduro motorbiking from 1990 to 2000), Florian Pouchès discovered a new way of riding, focusing on handling. He has participated in numerous competitions, including:

- XC MTB Feugarolle 1997: 3rd overall / 100 participants.
- Enduro Motorcycle League Midi-Pyrénées-Aquitaine 1998: 48th overall (8 races).
- Aveyronnaise Classic 2003: 89th overall / 462 participants (3-day race).
- Shark X Trem 2004: 34th overall / 140 participants (2-day race).
- DH MTB Font Romeu: 1st Master 30, 18th overall / 100 participants.
- Raid du Pic Saint-Loup: In a duo with Christophe Delsocoro (team from the Commando Training Center of Collioure).
